"locaction and room were decent. Cleanliness of the room was questionable as the floor was really dirty. This wasn’t a big deal. However, I was greatly disappointed by Fredy’s attitude and extremely POOR customer service. "Very friendly staff helpful with information and any questions. Able to store bags before and after check in/out with no problems. Tristram was extremely welcoming and chatty in a warm and professional way. The room had everything we needed along with free water and a very effective heating/ cooling system. A bit of fun with the toilet button in reception, try it if you stay. The hotel is close to walk to all major attractions and has shops/ cafes near by and the tram. Highly recommend."

"Clean, modern bright hotel Very well equipped, great location. Female receptionist upon arrival and departure was efficient and friendly, in a business like way. The breakfast staff member was also pleasant. On Saturday afternoon upon returning to the hotel after being out all day, I had popped down to the restaurant to request some milk for the tea and coffee in our room... The woman in the restaurant was quite rude and barked at me that she'd have to charge me for milk.. I hadn't realised there were sachets containing dried milk in the room as the sachets looked like sugar. Once this had been established I was happy to use these. That small encounter soured the experience of customer service. The staff member making me feel like I was requesting something for free that I wasn't entitled to! Not very hospitable service on that front!"

"Nice clean property on the outside of Ghent. Parking is easy but expensive (20 euro). They do have lots of electrical charging points for cars so that’s for sure a comfort. Breakfast too expensive but that’s not a surprise."

"Well located in the center of Ghent, couldn't ask for a better location. I was surprised that there was no kettle in the room, but they did provide one when I asked. I did think the room was quite small. My wife and I had to step around each other whenever we moved, Bed was comfy. I had to sit at a 45 degree angle on the toilet because there was no room for my knees. If I were to stay here again I would ask for a larger room, we had the smallest double with a view out over the Cathedral."
