“The lovely woman who checked us in was knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. The kindness didn’t stop there though, as in the evening staff did small talk with our group while we waited on a lagging group member. Additionally (upon check out), we were greeted by yet another very helpful fellow AND a lovely dog named Olive. Who was beyond trained, as she didn’t greet us until we confirmed it was alright. “The room was as expected - I have stayed in the past and had a warm connection with the proprietors, a couple who made my stays pleasant.
The issue that I had with the Budget Inn Motel was that the current managers/proprietors were woefully ignorant about the federal regulations regarding Registered Service Animals.

“If you are on your way through this small town, I would recommend this Inn, clean, recently renovated and simple breakfast with bagels, pastries and cereals. Nice thing is that parking is gated and locked over night. It's very quiet and we had a good sleep, but it wasn't on our driving way to AZ...so most likely will not come back.”
