“Great location in amazing surroundings. The amenities need a bit of care (door handles falling off ) and some additions. The name 'Deluxe Rooms' is misleading. It was more like a hostel with bare bones rooms and the washroom (which was great !) across from a public hallway. The breakfast was good, but nescafe' is not a good start to the day.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Royal Blue Resort & Residence. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the views were absolutely beautiful. It was a peaceful place to relax after exploring Kotor. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for the great hospitality!”

“Montenegro lodge was nice. The rooms were nice apart from there was work being done in our bathroom so the walls had plaster that had been thrown on. Breakfast was good. There was no WiFi for our entire stay, they said it was down in the whole area. Parking was difficult as the car park was usually full so it meant parking on the road sometimes.”

Since it is located in the heart of the Kotor old city, where GPS doesn’t work as well, you may have to inquire about the property location from the local retailers to find it. Best thing is to call the host when you get in the vicinity of the property.”

“The apartment was as it appeared in photos, very functional and 15 minute walk from Kotor along the gorgeous coastline. For the price and location it is worth it’s money The host didn’t reply to any of my messages about check in until I had messaged multiple times on the website and whatsapp, then was very snippy when i called to ask which room we were meant to check into, telling me he was very busy. We met another couple who had the same issue.”

“Pro: Yusuf was extremely friendly and helpful. This property has the perfect location for walking around old town. Con: The address and direction on the map was incorrect for hotels.com so it lead me to another property. This is a very old building in the center of old town so there are no elevators and stairs are tiny. Think a tower spiral stairs. The room is a decent size but you are in the heart of party central. Every night the music and party will go until past 1 am. It's pretty……

“Negative experience. The room was dirty, facilities broken, e.g.: WC and sink were leaking water. When telling this to the host, he mentioned that rooms are cleaned every day, if that is true (which we do not believe), the standard of cleaning is equal to non-existent. Also he said that someone will be sent to solve the bathroom leakages, but it did not happen. ”
