“Staff was pleasant. It was clean, but dated. There were no options for Food or Drink on property.”

“I stayed here the night before I caught the ferry and it was fantastically comfortable. The only issue that I had, and it was very minor, was finding the check-in instructions, but it was no trouble - another guest showed me the way. Well, there was a second issue. The driveway is very steep with some very sharp turns. I had everything I owned in the back of my pickup, so with the added weight, it was problematic for me to maneuver the driveway. If I'd known, I would have parked on the road and……

“Ian was great checking us in , our room was unfortunately hot , the walls are paper thin and the beds are sloped from people sitting on the sides of them . Once people stopped walking around in there rooms (yes you can hear them walking in the rooms next door so if their talking u can hear every detail ) . Breakfast was very nice and included . We would not stay there again due to the heat and the noise and uncomfortable beds .”

“Really wonderful stay overall. Despite the following comments we really enjoyed our stay, our room, the location and great service. Felt that the lack of air conditioning was a deficit especially in the soon to be warm weather. And the heat lamp/bathroom fan combo in the bathroom a little warm for the summertime but probably marvellous in the cold seasons. Room had a ceiling fan, windows that opened and were screened. Plus an available large circulating fan for our comfort. Having no elevator……

“This is an older hotel but very well maintained, with a historic look--e.g. pressed tin ceilings. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“The main issue we had as there is no sign on the building! There is no way to identify you have arrived at the location. You have to get the room key from a store near the building ( we had to ask people in the street and eventually another store owner took us to the right store to get the key) very unprofessional and frustrating. ”
