“The rooms are extremely outdated and appear to have had little to no upgrades. The refrigerator had rust on the sides, the desk chair was old with the seat tearing, and the room had a musty smell. The bedding also felt sticky and uncomfortable. The only positive was the staff—they were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Unfortunately, the condition of the property outweighed that. I would not recommend staying here and will not return”

“The person who checked us in on Monday was very nice. Toilet paper hadn't been refilled and bathroom wasn't clean. There were people loitering outside the hotel, which made us very uneasy. There was a lady walking through the hotel lobby with a shopping cart who was clearly homeless. The girl behind the counter was trying to get her to leave. She seemed alarmed and told us she was getting ready to call someone to help. When we checked out, the woman behind the counter told us that she was……

“Everything was perfect. We didn't use anything from the kitchen but looked well equipped. We loved the decor and whole vibe from this place. Towels felt good, not cheap. We loved how clean it was and it felt very cozy. We came for a sad family situation so staying at a place like this made it a little better. If we ever have to come back to Harlingen, this will be our first option, if available.”
