Room was incredibly clean and spacious. The food was lovely and I could not fault this. However, the customer service needs focus. I’m not sure if it was because I was travelling with a child, but staff were not attentive, and I found the service very slow. The lady serving us in the lounge was polite and friendly, everyone else lacked the ability to smile and provide basic information on the facilities/how breakfast is run. I would recommend this hotel but I do believe the customer service could be improved.

Highly recommend! Front desk staff member was friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. The room, including the bathroom, was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We had heavy luggage so they put us on a floor that had a working lift. Great location in the middle of Exeter. Loved the building! Free wifi but not secured with a password.

The hotel shows it's age, like a classic car. The staff are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the pool and spa area, again well passed it in age, it is comfortable and well run by attentive staff
