“We loved James Bay apartments as a young family seeking a relaxed holiday in Barbados. Mark and PJ were great hosts and were very welcoming for the children. We enjoyed being in a more original property for the area, which accompanied by the great view to the ocean helped the relaxed vibe. The location is great, right on the beach and in the middle of the west coast. It’s a good half an hour (not safe for children) walk to Holetown, so you’d need a car or easy bus ride. We’ll be back.”

“The gardens, pool and people are fantastic we loved every minute but the apartment needs work. The furnishings and bedding need replacing, the blinds are filthy and do not open, the balcony is grubby and needs a repaint. “We booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, the owner and onsite property manager were lovely to deal with and accomodated us.
We were given clean sheets and 2 towels and the bed was made. It was comfortable, the pullout divan was stained and not comfortable, those things typically are not.
The place had not been cleaned and there was no handsoap and little toilet paper.
The outside area was very nice, the inside area is like a very rustic old north american cottage. Very old gas……
