"Great place to stay in Long Beach. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Despite staffing shortages, the restaurant staff were amazing. The hotel offers a ton of free services and well priced activities. Very close to Main Street and a short drive to Astoria. I would recommend and stay here again."

"Pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, and it was like a little apartment. It was clean, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Definitely one of the better places we have stayed! The only minor things that could be improved on is the lighting in the living room / kitchen area was pretty dim, and the soap / shower gel / shampoo dispensers in the bathroom did not dispense very much at a time so it was difficult to get a reasonable amount. Those things are not a dealbreaker by any means - just mentioning them to give a little feedback. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Astoria!"

"I love the Norblad so much!!! I’ve been twice now and this time I splurged a bit and stayed in one of the astor suites in the other building! Everything was so clean and beautifully decorated! Highly recommend this place no matter your price range!! Even the economy room I stayed in last time was lovely!"

"The drinks were beautiful, along with the view at the bar. Our room was beautiful and the coffee was GREAT! Everything was perfect from start to end. One person working the bar could have been more pleasant - dark-headed girl. Smiling would help out a lot. We loved it there. We think the sea walrus should be named and they should have a cam-same thing with all of the ships...we learned so much watching them from our window and looking to see what flag they are flying. We thought that would be another fun thing the hotel could do"
