“Overall, the house is beautiful, and the location is great—quiet, with an outstanding view of the stars at night. The mattresses were the best I’ve experienced compared to all my stays at hotels and vacation rentals. The only complaint I have is the unfinished closet in the master bedroom.”

“The property was great for our young family to rest and relax after a few long days in the National Park. The house is just a short drive into several park entrances. The pool was a great way to cool off after a hot day hiking in the park and the game room kept the kids entertained at night. ”

“The only thing I would do different, would be to stay longer. The house was fantastic. It was fun, crazy, retro! The wife and daughter loved it! If you're looking for a 5 star hotel/room, this is not it. But, if you want to enjoy a stay like no other, this is a place to experience. The house is about 3/4 mile off the Hwy, down a rough dirt road....... so be prepared for that. Once you arrive at the house, you agree the short little trip on the dirt road is worth it! ”

“Coming from the east coast, our early-May stay in the Joshua Tree area was lovely. The Birdhouse was everything my wife and I hoped for and more! The hosts were wonderful -- communication was clear and timely, accessing the house was easy and intuitive, the pool, jacuzzi, and game room/bunk house were treats. While we came to town to visiting the National Park, we spent LOTS more time around the house than expected due to how fun, welcoming, and enjoyable it was. We'll definitely be back --……
