“Loved our stay at The Mint Resort. The staff was amazing and answered any questions we had. The hotel was kept clean and our room was very spacious. Major plus that the AC worked great and never had trouble with the hot water. The only downside was that there is construction happening around the resort but that’s out of the hands of the resort. “We have stayed at Rocamar several times. The things that keep us going back are price, location, view, balcony, pool and the staff. It’s not the Ritz. If you want luxury move on, but if you’re looking for a nice economical option, it’s hard to beat. Negatives for me were the lack of blackout drapes. Great place for viewing beautiful sunrises. “This hotel is wonderful. So cute and homey with a beautiful garden and great beach. The rooms are large and have good air conditioning. The hotel includes a hearty and tasty breakfast at Loretta’s Restaurant and Beach resort and access to their beach. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The beach has nice sand, good swimming area, snorkels and kayaks. The food there is excellent. We did not even go anywhere else during our 5 day stay! It is within walking distance of Punta Sur and many……

“Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart……
