“Expedia overbooked my room. I was sold an oceanfront room for a premium price... there were no oceanfront rooms available well before the time of my booking.
I was informed by the resort management that this was not uncommon... they would be refunding Expedia the difference in what room they sold me, vs what I was given.
The resort could not refund the difference directly to me.
I would need to get Expedia to refund me their difference in the room prices.
If I knew the oceanfront was not……
