"The only downfall was the restaurant...i have serious allergy which i asked the server about..she wasnt sure so i asked her to double check with the kitche/Chef and she came back saying it was safe for me to order that plate...needless to say i took only one bite and my bf finished the rest..and i got sick for a day and a bit..the server saw i didnt eat anything and all she said is - i feel bad you are going to bed hungry...anyway..not a great first experience at the restaurant..we didnt got back after..plenty of better option around!! Housekeeping and staff and overall property are great will suggest it foe sure!!"
"Our stay at winding was amazing! Staff was superb. Garey and Ellie were awesome! Our massages were top notch and our room 5202 was so spacious we had all we wanted and more very clean and the views and snorkeling were awesome our next visit will be to Windsong for sure "
"I highly recommend this hotel! Not because the property stands out but because of the exceptional staff and service provided. I went to with my sister to celebrate my 40th birthday, no plans, no expectations. Once the team heard the reason for my trip they sprung into action making it a very memorable trip.
Special thanks to the entire team but I have to call out Dianna, Iveno, Chef Ordel and Manager Lorne. These folks made me feel welcome and went above and beyond their normal duties.
A huge thank you to the team! I enjoyed my stay and will return 😀. "
"Everything about our stay at Wymara was perfect: the friendly and informative greeting from Alexandra when we arrived; the unexpected and much appreciated room upgrade; the room itself — large, immaculate, with a fabulous oceanfront view; the pool — attendants are so kind and thoughtful — and of course the gorgeous beach. No seaweed to speak of, soft sand, more attendants on hand to help with towels and drinks. The dining was 5* quality and our meal at Indigo (with a visit from Chef Andrew) was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Truly an exceptional experience — the hotel itself is gorgeous but it was the warmth and kindness we experienced from every single staff member that made it truly memorable. (Special shout out to Timothy at breakfast!) We will certainly be back!"
"I stayed at Sands in 2018 and went back with my sister November 2025. Everything was exactly as I remembered it!!! The best thing about the Sands is the staff. Front desk and Hemingways are super, but a special shout-out to Jose and the guys on the beach! I lost my phone (with all of my son's wedding photos that I hadn't had a chance to back up) in the ocean in a waterproof cover. They jumped in with snorkel gear, and Jose came up with it.....I have never been so relieved! They turned what could have been a disaster of a vacation into a relaxing, enjoyable time. They didn't want any money, but were happy to help me. I will DEFINITELY go back (already planning for next November), perfect weather!"
"We just returned from our latest trip to West Bay Club and, once again, it was fantastic. This place continues to be one of our absolute favorite resorts on Grand Cayman. From the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel like family – everyone is genuinely warm, attentive, and quick to help with anything you need. The rooms (we had an ocean-view suite) were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Housekeeping does an outstanding job every single day.
The property itself is lovely: quiet, beautifully landscaped, great pools, and that perfect stretch of Seven Mile Beach is literally steps away. Kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear – everything is complimentary and in great condition.
Breakfast buffet: still one of the most generous spreads you’ll find on the island with an omelet station, bacon, sausage, pastries, yogurt, juices, etc. There was tons of variety, but I’ll be honest – it wasn’t quite up to the very high standard we’ve experienced here in previous years. The pancakes had a slightly sour/off taste (possibly the batter sat out a bit too long), and the fresh fruit selection, while plentiful, wasn’t as ripe and sweet as we remember. Minor nitpicks in an otherwise excellent experience, and certainly not enough to drop my rating.
At the end of the day, West Bay Club still delivers incredible value for what you get: peaceful location, top-tier service, pristine accommodations, and beachfront perfection. We’ll be back next year without hesitation. Highly recommend!"
