Vacation Cabin On 5 Acres With Pond . Sleeps 3

Small private cabin on 5 acres with a pond, fire pit, picnic table. Has a view of Big Mountain and mountains in Glacier park . Cabin is one room with a full bed and twin bed over it. Ideal for a family with one or two children. Fully furnished kitchen (dishes , pots and pans, utensils, coffee pot and coffee, condiments etc.) Full bath with shower and tank less water heater for unlimited hot water. A/C, flat screen TV, microwave, and toaster. Would make a good base camp to ski Whitefish and Blacktail mountains.

Less than 10 minutes to all services with a country setting makes it unique. This cabin shares a pond with a second cabin. The 2 units are 200 feet apart and still private. Both units could be rented together for a larger group or a family reunion

Bunk beds difficult to navigate for older ladies. Outside porch carpet could use upkeep. Bathroom light fixture is unsafe and needs fixed as hanging from ceiling.

Great stay

We loved morys cabin! There was everything we needed and he was great communicating. There are great views from the Mountains behind the house and a fire pit we were able to utilize. Have already recommended his place to others who are looking to take a trip to glacier.

Great place to stay

Perfect place to come and stay for our son’s baseball tournament. Mory was a great host, greeted us upon arrival. Cabin was well stocked with anything we needed. Our dogs had a great time running around. Perfect distance from town and gave us a taste of country. Beautiful views and lovely little porch to enjoy our coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again with any future trips to Kalispell!

Fantastic location and value. I stayed in the cabin alone for a few nights while day hiking Glacier National Park. The cabin is conveniently located right across the highway from the airport and about 30 min away from the west entrance of the park. There are other buildings/businesses near the cabin so don’t expect a private, remote location. The cabin itself was clean and stocked with everything you need. Some changes had been made since the listing photos were taken including new kitchen cabinets and a new bunk bed. The lower bunk isn’t tall enough to sit up so watch your head; the upper bunk requires you to climb a ladder (not ideal for late night bathroom trips). If you plan to dine in the cabin, use the picnic table out front- there is a bench inside to sit but no table.

Cute tiny house

The owner was great with communicating, which was a huge help as we had no wifi at our previous stay. All was good in the house except that the front door didn't lock. Luckily since we were pretty remote and the owner and family was close by, we felt secure.

Sweet Cabin on Prairie

Loved loved staying here! The hosts were very nice and welcoming - there are a couple cats that roam the property and farm animals on nearby properties that are fun to watch. A puppy named Oakley might visit you if you're lucky. Gorgeous view of the mountains and unbelievably easy drive from the Kalispell airport. Cabin is the perfect size and the kitchen is well enough outfitted to cook simple meals - I made all my breakfasts and dinners here for the few days I stayed. I really enjoyed eating at dawn/dusk at the picnic tables. They lent me bear spray / bug spray / binoculars while I stayed which was super helpful. So enjoyed, felt very at home and at ease here, and would most certainly return!

We'll stay there again!

Great location. Easy access to the main road where it's just a quick trip to Glacier and the surrounding areas. Mory was easy to deal with and everything was clean and in great working order. The other cabin and neighboring houses were occupied while we were there, but it still felt very private. We sat outside every evening and enjoyed watching the neighbors' cows milling about while the sun went down. We travel with our dog, and she was able to safely be off leash without us worrying about roads or any other trouble. It was exactly what we wanted and we will stay again!

A stay NOT to be missed, although we miss it already.

I was lucky to get 3 nights here, but wish I could have stayed the whole week. Conveniently located near the airport. Pictures are exactly as expected. A big thanks to Mory, Sara, and of course...Bonnie & Clyde. The cats were so friendly and my daughter would have loved just to stay there all day instead of seeing the sites. We were lucky that the pond was so full and we able to borrow Sara's kayaks and life vest. We used the fire pit only one night, but wanted to every night. The sun sets so late and rises so early, which we weren't used to . I highly recommend this place and it also came with toiletries in case you forgot yours with plenty of towels. Just make sure you get Mory to show you the instant hot water heater (if you aren't used to them). I'd love to come back, but the memories for those few days will stay with me always. Thanks for letting us stay there.

Chicken Fiasco

Great place to stay if you don’t have family living in town. Lots of extra driving. Property probably should update that not just two cabins on five acres. There are at least 11 permanent residence living in various RVs and cabins, all of which had up to three dogs and chickens. So you can’t really have your personal pets running free. I did take my dog over to the flathead River so he could run. This is located on a very busy road where people are driving 70 miles an hour. And the airport is right next-door. When you sit on the porch of the cabin, you were looking across the way at a very busy mechanic shop and auto business. A lot of activity.

Good... Could Have Been Great

Found property as described... Compact and cost efficient... Convenient location close to town and Glacier National Park... Excellent communication with host... The only thing that disappointed me (and lowered my overall rating) was the cleanliness of the cabin... Let's just say it appeared to be in need of a thorough cleaning... Also, upon arrival, we noticed a stale, mildew smell... There is obviously a moisture problem in the bathroom at back of cabin... By the end of our stay, there was literally fungus growing from the floor! ...My intent with this review is not to trash the property, but rather to point out it needs some TLC... It was good, but it could have been great.

Cabin

This was a great place to stay. Its clean, comfortable and has charm. It's perhaps not a remote as it appears on the advertising, but it definitely gives you more room than most all other cabins. We had a lazy day there and set up a table and chairs behind the cabin. We looked at mountains and a large meadow. We saw lots of birds, a hawk and a deer. When I return, I will definitely book here again.

Overall a lovely little place to stay. Great central location. Easy access to highway but highway noise is definitely there when sitting on deck. No noise inside the cabin. Our lab loved swimming in the pond! The remote control should be replaced. Very hard to use as the volume buttons didn't work very well. It's a very cute little cabin with everything you could need for a stay. We met a nice family from Ohio staying in the next cabin! Definitely better than a hotel! We would stay again if in the area. Thank you

Great place to stay, but not secluded.

This property is located about 100 yards off the main highway and has 2 other cabins on it. Its close to the airport so you get a little background noise from that as well, but overall its decently quiet. Its a very good location if you like being close to town, but not if your looking for something secluded. The property owner is great, its very pet friendly, and all the basics are supplied for you. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick getaway close to the wilderness and to town.

Tiny house was a good choice!

This tiny house was perfect for a family of three. It might not have been perfect if inclement weather had driven us inside for a couple days. It is near the RR tracks, but we heard them only a couple of times. The airport is also fairly near, but the runways and prevailing winds do not direct airport traffic over the house. We had to be diligent to keep a premises cat from entering the house. We were and he/she didn’t. Overall it was good choice for our needs! We would certainly stay there again!
