“The facility is very nice, the room clean. Staff member Ms. Karina is WONDERFUL, very professional and helpful. We booked a king with sleeper sofa. We arrived after 8pm. No access to sheets for the sleep sofa. No access to towels. Next morning my child, went to reception & asked for towels, he was lectured by staff member "Ms. M" about not using towels at the beach. He informed her we had our own beach towels. Ms. M, need serious training in customer services & customer recovery……

“We've been staying at this hotel since 2015. But every time, the quality of everything seems to go down. This year was the last straw. You'll pay for the view, but that's about it. The cleaning staff left trash inside our bathroom. We could just feel they don't want to do their job, even after I tipped them. The breakfast (not free) was like chewing on cardboard. The WiFi is a joke. I'm not sure if the property owner has forgotten that the whole point is to make your guests feel comfortable and,……

“The location was great, right on the beach and located centrally to the other Outer Banks attractions we wanted to visit. The suite was a great option to have additional space and a separate bedroom when traveling with young children. The motel itself is badly in need of updating, as we had issues with the toilet and door locks- both staple needs when choosing lodging. Overall, the motel was okay for the price, but travelers should know to keep expectations low.”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was just a few steps from the beach as well as close to the Wright Brothers Memorial (which was very worthwhile). The room was comfortable. The building is getting older and could use some renovation, but nevertheless was comfortable.”
