“It is a beautiful property. Didn’t realize we would have people upstairs that we could hear walking around half the night. It was a bit dusty. As most of my family have dust allergies and it was affecting them.”

“Overall it was a nice place except for one glaring exception. It’s decorated nicely and mostly clean and well maintained. We stayed on the second floor. The glaring exception was an HVAC system. It was shockingly loud. It sounded like a car that needed a new muffler. It woke us up numerous times at night. If it had been heating season I would have been concerned about a gas leak. I reported it immediately to the management, but they were dismissive. They suggested fiddling with the thermostat,……

“We loved the home and had a wonderful time. I would suggest that the kitchen would be a bit better stocked. (no coffee filters, no salt & pepper)I would also suggest the staff checks the light bulbs periodically for being burned out (we had several) ”

“Great space, huge bedrooms, televisions in living room and bedrooms, great space for four people. Historical charm and modern conveniences were everything we anticipated on our “Everything Lincoln” weekend. The location was perfect and very walkable. There were stairs but we were not having to navigate them all the time.”

“Chad was very accommodating, and communication was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I never actually made it to his cute bungalow because I made an error when booking in Springfield, IL, and I should have booked in Springfield, OH. Chad was thoughtful in understanding my circumstances and was reasonable in helping me out with a costly mistake. I really appreciate his kindness. I feel certain he is a gracious host and that his place is as described! Chad, thank you again!”
