"This is our second time staying here and I was so happy we returned! Can’t get enough of the quiet, and coziness of this home. Communication is always easy with the owner, the sweet dog Chase is always a plus to run into, and everything is very clean and easy to use. This has become my favorite place to watch the sunset. If the sky is clear the stars are incredible to watch as well in the dark. Can’t recommend it enough! "

"Good clean room. Staff wasn't intrusive. Enjoy the exterior door room access. Attended business mtg that day and facility for it was comfortable. One small note, and a very small one, I killed two small cockroaches in my room so managers might want to address that."

"I was so impressed and pleased with my stay at Clarion Pointe Mattoon. From our check in until our departure, the staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was so clean and updated. We stayed 2 nights and it was a very peaceful experience. We have stayed down the road at the pricier hotel and this stay was comparable to it, only the price was better! If I had to have something to mention, the exhaust fan in the bathroom does not have its own control. "
