"This is a beautifully appointed shepherd's hut on the edge of a pretty and quiet village in the North Pennines. Lots of walking routes nearby and just a few miles from Appleby-in-Westmoreland. We enjoyed our stay very much though were disappointed that the internet signal was so poor. The TV would not stream smoothly so not worth having it there at the moment. "Stayed at Troutbeck Inn – a lovely and relaxing experience I had a wonderful stay at Troutbeck Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The atmosphere of the inn is warm and welcoming, and the location is absolutely perfect—peaceful surroundings with beautiful views, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring the Lake District. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. The inn has a charming, traditional feel while still being comfortable and cosy. It’s also a great base for visiting nearby attractions and enjoying scenic walks. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would happily recommend Troutbeck Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stay in the Lake District. Would definitely return again."
