"Excellent hotel! I'm in Sri Lanka every year and try to check out a new hotel in Colombo each time and this might be my favorite so far. Very clean and all the employees are polite, helpful, and professional. The rooftop restaurant and bar are good but warning very loud in the evenings. The gym is small and a bit dark but sufficient to get a good workout in. The lounge at the check in level is wonderful with great views of the ocean and we were lucky to be sitting there for some beautiful live piano playing. I would stay here again!"

"A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Yasiru in the dining room is one of the greatest wait staff ever. It’s always touching to be remembered by name and he nailed it every time. I especially like the way they have a cat house for the three cats they look after at the property. The two younger cats (Pinot and Noir) are very friendly. When looking for a place that has high standards in Colombo the Taj will meet your expectations every time."

"We checked-in to suite at Cinnamon life City of Dreams for two nights on our vacation. Cleanliness in the suite was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and a very quite atmosphere. The Butler Service assigned for our suite was excellent too."
