“We live east of Dallas and came to this area for a wedding. We found this place and thought it would be nice to rest and sleep here before driving home. This place exceeded expectations. Host is quick to reply. House was so cozy and clean, and we really enjoyed the shop with all the games in it. We actually plan on coming back for a longer stay!!”

“Brandon was amazing to work with and it was an amazing stay even if it was only for night, me and my grandkids had a phenomenal time! The only thing I would change would be knowing ahead of time that you have to book the canoes and kayaks instead of them coming with the stay. Overall we absolutely loved the place. It was an amazing setup and at night even better with the lights and then the amazing view of the lake! Overall I would say this is a 5 star experience.”

“Would stay again. Super cool!”

“My stay was wonderful! The beds were excellent, the atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and the communication was exceptional — clear and consistent from start to finish. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and would gladly stay again.”

“The staff is incredibly attentive and caring. Dinner was five star for sure!”

“The Upper Room was an amazing addition to our Oak Meadow Ranch experience. The room was clean and beautifully decorated with a rustic feel. It was a bonus when we finished our dinner and wildlife tour and didn’t need to drive back to DFW, we could walk to our room.”

“The entire property is stunning! The monkeys are so fun to watch and are full of energy! You must dine on the property at least once! We did dinner and it was delicious!”

“Very expensive but the animals are worth the expenditure”

“the absolute most amazing experience. highly recommend staying overnight, dining wildlife tour. beyond my expectations. a great memory for our 34th anniversary.”

“we did a monday to friday stay at the king ranch suite, which was an amazing experience. The whole property was also a cool experience with a whole array of animals to interact with. They had a nice outdoor pool which was a 5 minute walk from the room, but not too bad. Staff nice also. No complaints at all, except lack of food/beverages options on the property, you need to basically order uber eats and everything is far away and doesnt taste good. Maybe do some shopping before you come-they……
