"Breakfast has been scaled down in selection, quality & service and seemed disorganised. Also, as a vegan, there is very little available on the buffet table though I acknowledge they offer a cooked vegan breakfast which is good if you want hot. The granola which I like had run out & I couldn't find a member of staff free to inform them so went without. It would be a thoughtful touch if biscuits in the room were dairy & egg free just to cater fr a wider clientele. "

Plug in basin did'nt work; pull cord on bathroom mirror only a couple of inches of string left, windows only opened a few inches and badly needed painting, remote control for TV unreadable. "Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out but we were gifted a small sample instead which was super nice. The restaurant is lovely, get to breakfast early to snag a window table. The food was excellent. Our room was nice and very clean and we had a good nights sleep. The walls were not as thin as many UK seaside hotels which was good. Overall a lovely stay, we would definitely come back and highly recommend "
