“I like the stay”

“We came later in the evening and checked in and left early in the morning. Small mom and pop run place i think. I think i woke him up when we checked in and left earlier than they arrived at the office to open up the next morning. I slid my room card in the window slot and left. But if you need a receipt you may have to wait a little later to check out than we did. The AC was off when we arrived so the room was SUPER hot and took a while to cool down it was cooler outside than in our room so we……

“It’s an older small town motel. What you would expect. Very quiet, older motel no need for large hotel amenities. It’s fine for where it’s located. Gives the whole safe stop for the night and rest feel. Clean, room, linens,air conditioning, parking in front of room. No fear felt staying there.”

“Staff was kind and helpful. Room was spacious. It was fairly clean.”

“multiple cockroaches are everywhere in my room. Best estimates I would say I have seen 10-15. They are small, moving around fast. They went into my food so I have to trash it. Such a nasty hotel room is a symbol of, I don’t know what to say precisely, nightmare. I hardly recall I had this kind of room experience before. The breakfast is most nothing. Building is old. ”

“Very friendly and informative staff. Property was cleaned very nicely everywhere we went. Housekeeping does a great job! Was a little outdated in places and could use some more updates. Looked like they have started, but not finished all. Pillows were smaller than standard. Did not use pool because water was cloudy green—looked like chemicals were off. Plenty of parking space for oversized loads and trailers on the north side. Property around it looked abandoned and run down. Breakfast was great……

“Loved the experience and Loved seeing what a vision can do with recycled stuff ! Very clean. Very comfortable! Beds were fantastic! and Yes, we stole a koozie from the FlopHouze!”

“I booked this online and reserved it. They charged me $96 on my credit card (I didn’t know they had charged me until I looked at my card days later. I thought I was going to pay when we got there. When we got there that evening, they said that there are no rooms available. So we left and stayed at another hotel in Schulenburg. I realized days later they still charged my credit card online. & he is REFUSING to refund me even tho we didn’t stay there cz they said there were no rooms left……

“I was traveling in Texas to go to my uncle's memorial and my aunt made my mom reservations at the same hotel I was staying at. That was okay, but my mother arrived at the hotel before me, made with completely different reservations under different names and upon her request, the receptionist changed my room to be on the same floor as hers WITHOUT calling me to ask me if that was okay or if I even knew the person making the request. Now it happened to actually be my mother so it's not the end of……

“The beds were very comfortable. The AC was efficient and quiet. The room was spacious and clean and simple. I like the soaps and shampoo in dispensers instead if little bars and bottles. The breakfast was excellent, snd there were both whole milk and half-and-half for my coffee. Our nine yr old grandson was with us and we went out to look at the pool, which was not inviting, as there was tile missing from its edges and moldy looking concrete where the tile was off.
