“What a view! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. While room was a bit outdated it was clean and comfortable. Did I mention the view? Bay windows overlooking the harbour. The restaurant was good and there are lots of other options around for variety.”

“The breakfast choices included a delicious variety of fresh fruit bowls, yogurt (homemade?), fantastic homemade banana bread, juices, caraffe of coffee or teapot, cooked to order eggs, bacon and toast. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. The room was clean, charming and bed /mattress was very comfortable. We had a great sleep. We had a lovely two night stay and will definitely return in the future. A real gem in a lovely town.”

“We stayed two nights at the Salt Shaker, and loved our room. It was clean and modern while fitting the seaside vibe of historic Lunenburg. Our visit was in March, and really, the Salt Shaker is the only game in town….but gathering there for coffee, lunch, dinner or drinks is an absolute pleasure for visitors and locals, alike. “Property was as advertised and expected We stayed two nights, and prepared 3 of our meals on location. The kitchen was clean, and we’ll provided with nice cookware and dishware needed for meal prep and eating in. The host greeted us as we arrived, and gave us helpful comments about the ac/heat, the tv, and property. In retrospect as most in their 40s and older are not as intuitive as millennials and genders, it would be helpful to have a simple instruction outline on the tv and ac/heat. On our……
