"Location was great. Room was clean and spacious. It was a bit of a walk from our room to the entrance. Staff at the front could be a bit more friendlier. We didn’t know we had to have our own bodywash and hand soap etc. our kids enjoyed the pool. The coffee bar and restaurant were a bit pricey. Overall, I think a good place for younger kids and not for teens."

"My phenomenal first evening in Ferragudo. As I stood on the Panorama Bar terrace at Hotel Casabela, the view spans from the open Atlantic coast right up to the rolling peaks of the Serra de Monchique. The Atlantic breeze tangled in my hair, a cold drink in my hand, I fell in love with the Algarve. The Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms and environment was impeccably clean. The buffet break fast was delicious and in bounty. I wish they could have some tea and coffee in the rooms. Great proximity to the beach, restaurants and other towns. "The hotel was good but it’s hard to get around because the distance at least from our room to the beach/pool etc is quite long. Also, there’s a few restaurants but hard to get a reservation. The first night we got in we attempted to make reservations and some of them were not even available during our stay, and the first available time to eat our first night in was at 9:30pm. The beach service is almost non existent. You can be sitting for hours and no one comes to ask you if you would like to order something. The rooms are also a bit dated. Over all I would say that it is a nice stay but we were not blown away with the facility for the price we paid."
