“Beautiful well equipped cottage with large bedroom with wooden beams. When we arrived we were welcomed with fresh Devon cream tea in the fridge. Coffee, team and milk were also provided which was appreciated. The garden is lovely and the birds said hello along with the owner’s dog and cat which were nice and friendly. The cottage is well positioned for touring around Cornwall. We visited St Ives, Port Issac and Boscastle during our stay. The hosts are extremely hospitable and gave us a lift……

“there is NO beach view from the lodge but a superb distant view of the City of Plymouth across the Tamar river. Property very clean, outside patio area & furniture needs a good pressure wash clean. One single bed lacks headboard, no bathmats for showers, these are minor gripes, it's a lovely place to stay with nearly everything you need inside. Good restaurant on site.”

“Beautiful private retreat, very clean and quiet, Friendly staff. Only down side was that the sky light above the jacuzzi needs a blind because the room got very bright at 5am ideal if you will be up that early in the summer. Will definitely be coming back. ”

“Stunning location by the river. Remote and peaceful. Don't take a big car!!! Its a narrow track to the cottage!!! Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside decking area. Comfortable lounge. Very helpful neighbours and hosts. Our only complaint was the very noisy boiler which woke the whole house up every morning !”

“Lovely apartment. Great location as there are wonderful bars and places to reach within a two min distance. The apartment was a great size and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Lovely and clean but stating to show signs of ware and tear. I was a little bit cautious of sitting on the furniture as I think the leg are not so strong and n need of replacing or repairing. The cooking utensils were great for the cooking I was doing, possibly a bigger oven dish would be good, but that's only if you……
