"We had an incredible stay. The ocean views from the property are amazing!!! Both pools were clean and the room was spacious. One pool with a slide is more for kids, the other pool is regular- great for swimming. We got lucky because there were no other guests while we stayed but even if more rooms would be occupied, it would be ok because there are plenty of lounge areas for guests. "The property was undergoing improvements when we were there. We stayed on the second level and had very little water pressure. The wifi was often down and the free breakfast was basic, but good. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The staff were all friendly with the exception of one, whom didn't seem to want to help us and were pass our questions off to the younger staff. When we arrived on Sunday he whole area was extremely busy. If want quiet come during the week, otherwise be prepared to party on the weekend. "

"I had such a great time at Casa Maya. Location was a bit of distance from the airport, but it was wort it. I had a room with ocean view and a balcony. Love the fact that it was quite and on the ocean. The only down fall, is the staff does not speak English and they are afraid to approach at the restaurant. Food wasn't so special. But the view was specular and the price was excellent. "

"Beautiful and peaceful resort. Staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Pools very clean and lots of lounge chairs around. Swim up bar nice. Rooms were clean and kept well. Nice relaxing outdoor space with hammocks, couch and table for certain rooms which I would highly recommend. Air conditioning worked well, showers had hot water. Food was ok-good. Location is great. Short walk to all restaurants and the busier area. Right on the water and close to the beach. Beach is mostly rocky so can’t swim right there in the ocean. Would come back again."
