“The only thing we can complain about is that we couldn’t stay forever with Cathy!
The place is much better than expected (really, much better). Super well equipped, comfortable, clean, and with marvelous decoration. The area where the house is located is absolutely stunning. And of course, we must mention Cathy again, she is incredibly nice, kind, intelligent, talkative, and made our one-night stay feel like being with family.
We truly recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend a great……

“Incredibly beautiful castle, grounds and room. Highly advise a castle bedroom if you can! Very clean, comfortable and huge.
Biggest drawback was limited dining options during the week-same menu for lunch and dinner that gets boring pretty fast.
Breakfast was tasty and lots of options all included.
Close to Dublin- we didn’t have a car but 45 minutes by train and then 10 minute taxi made it easy (except book taxi ahead as Athy is pretty small).
Worthwhile for the luxury to stay in a castle!”

“This is an unmanned hotel. You must use your phone with an app to get in. The rooms are small but have most of what you'll need. The automatic lights in the bathroom are

“The check-in was very smooth. The staff member showed us through the property including the smoking area, public washrooms, the breakfast area and our room. It’s upstairs from a pub so we needed all that information to find the amenities. He showed us where to park the car for the night. A full Irish breakfast was included and it was wonderful.
