“Excellent hotel and pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent and wonderful value for money. The rooms were a good size, wonderfully clean and had everything you would need, including an iron and ironing board. So good that we are booking a return visit!”

“For what you pay, this is an excellent place to stay when visiting Hereford, but it is really a room only property. It is situated a couple of miles outside Hereford, in a quiet countryside setting, so is nice to unwind at. There is a continental breakfast available for only £5, but this could not be booked through the Expedia site. There is a communal kitchen and dining room, so you can either make something yourself, or order in a deliveroo. The room was a good size, clean and functional, with……

“You can tell the new owners have really invested in the hotel and with work continuing I can only imagine how nice this hotel will ultimately become. The public / entrance areas are extremely clean & welcoming and the front of hour staff could not be more friendly & helpful! The room, whilst slightly dated in terms of furniture was faultless, comfy bed, clean, choice of firm or ultra soft feather pillows (I felt this choice was a nice touch!). “The hotel’s proximity to the train station and the availability of a microwave oven are positive aspects. However, the lighting in the room is inadequate, especially near the door. Furthermore, the dark-colored carpet makes the room appear even dimmer. The room’s price is quite high, likely due to the Cheltenham Festival.”
