Waterloo Hotel Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Our room was good, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, good wifi throughout, breakfast was delicious"

Ty Glyndwr Hotel Bangor

10/10 Excellent

"Well first of all the staff was pleasant, helpful and professional. For me the location was excellent with plenty of places to walk, multiple supermarkets within easy walking distance and several place to order good food. Speaking of food, the Beef and Guinness pie served here was excellent. One thing, the car navigation system in the car I leased (a VW Golf Hybrid 8 SE from Europcar) not only couldn't locate the place, in fact it couldn't find Station street in Bangor at all (this has happened several times) so use Google maps for the last 5 miles of your trip as it knows exactly where this Pub is. I'd stay there again."

Cottage in Croesor. Snowdonian mountain retreat. Fast internet with vista views!

8/10 Good

"The cottage is beautifully located in a rural secluded village with amazing views. Is easy to find (as long as you watch for the crossroads). The accommodation is as described with comfy beds and sofa. Kitchen is very well equipped (dishwasher instructions would have helped) and appreciated the range of pots, pans and utensils. The front garden is delightful and the pup enjoyed laying in the sun or standing at the gate bemused by the sheep in the field opposite. The open fire was a real pleasure and such a treat after a day on the footpaths. But heating and hot water facilities were up to date and functional. For such a rural location it is well placed for trips out to the beach (both Harlech and Black Rock Sands), Beddgelert and Porthmadog (has the local Tesco superstore - be warned do not do click and collect) only 20 minutes away. Even places further afield were easy to get to, Caernarvon castle and boat trips, and the myriad of steam railways, plus access to most of the Snowdon paths. The walking from the village is rewarding and spectacular - only sorry that we missed the local café.Only criticism is that we never found a way to the village pool! As it appears on the place description it would have been nice if we could have.Host Richard easily contactable and responded in no time at all."

Nomi Rooms and Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"Clean compact room - accessed by a small staircase. The building is an old property in an elevated position and we had a great Seaview over the pier. We didn't stay for Breakfast but did eat in the restaurant which was good. All the parking spaces were taken by the time we arrived but there were spaces on the road leading to the pier car park so didn't cause an issue. I would stay again."
