We hiked various trails in Hickory Run State Park (over 10 miles!) and visited the lovely Jim Thorpe (enjoyed his memorial and the old jail). “Most of the house was dirty, floors felt like they hadn't been cleaned, turned everyone's feet black in less than 30 minutes of being there. Trash in-between couch cushions. Different kitchen appliances, outlets that didn't work. Host did try to make it right but not much could be done when you've already moved your whole party and their stuff into a house.
