Paradise Links Resort Port Douglas
"Relaxing in quiet surroundings easy to get to the beach nice swimming pool pool area and gardens one bedroom apartment with self-contained kitchen and laundry was a real bonus"
By The Sea Port Douglas
"This is the place to stay in Port Douglas. Everything is fabulous about By The Sea but it is the staff who make your holiday the absolute best. Friendly, cheerful, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is excellent & everything is there for you to have a wonderful holiday."
Coral Beach Lodge
"Great place! Private rooms but shared spaces and kitchen encourages community. Restaurant had great pricing and food, though food took a while. Staff were incredibly friendly, nice clean space in the room and around the property. Great location to everything in port Douglas and Mossman"
Mantra PortSea
"Let me start off by saying that we had a wonderful stay at the Mantra PortSea. The staff at the Mantra PortSea were fantastic. The apartment was clean and big enough for our family of five. We had the sofa bed converted to a bed for our stay. We had a small kitchen that meant we were regular visitors to Coles to buy some food and drink for our stay. The lack of on-site restaurant/kitchen was a bit of a pain point. The Lagoon Bar was open from 12pm-5pm but only serves fries and deep fried fish/tenders/calamari which is a bit limited for lunch options. The salt water pools at the hotel are lovely and the beach is a short walk. It’s a short walk up the beach to an area of sun loungers and lifeguarded sea swimming. We went on a croc sighting tour and the croc guys advised against swimming in the sea at four mile beach even though it’s monitored so we stayed out of the ocean. The included breakfast buffet was fairly limited but served us just fine. There’s pretty good choice of cold breakfast items, and we were advised of this when booking. We walked the ten minutes up four mile beach every day into Port Douglas which has a bunch of shops, bars, and restaurants available. One of our favourite breakfast/lunch spots was Cafe Fresq. We stayed at the Mantra PortSea for two weeks and were advised ahead of time that room servicing was only every four days. The room was only serviced twice during our stay but ideally it needs servicing slightly more because it gets quite sandy."
Shantara Resort Port Douglas - Adults Only Retreat
"Excellent accommodation. Heated pools, all rooms facing the pool and just a few minutes walk to main shopping strip."
Silky Oaks Lodge, Beckons
"Excellent stay, stunning accommodation and surrounding areas, the staff were friendly, attentive, remembered my son’s allergies at every meal and happily accommodated his requirements. Very clean, would love to return."
Silkari Lagoons Port Douglas
"Check in was quick and easy, rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel pools were great. All round fantastic place to stay."
Oaks Port Douglas Resort
"The property is beautiful and well kept. All the common areas were quite nice. Beautiful waterfall and koi pond. The rooms are dated and in need of some refreshing. The carpets are dirty and there isn't much space in the room to put your things, just a small table. The breakfast is basic but has a little of everything. It's the same every day. Which could be a good thing or bad thing based on what you like. The price seemed expensive for what you get but everything in port Douglas is expensive."
Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas
"Such an incredible place to stay! Has spoilt my kids for life."
