“Parking easy & close. Some neat shops nearby. Staff friendly but some difficulty understanding their accent. Place clean & neat. Bed comfortable. Only thing lacking was hair dryer(or put on site to bring one). Loved the unique Victorian look!”

“The room was okay. There were a few hairs in the bedding but other than that it was okay. Staff were very nice. Breakfast was a complete joke which i knew it would be do to other reviews i had read before we stayed there. Plan on eating breakfast at the Qwik Star next door. ”

“Our toddler loved the pool area, especially the indoor waterslide! Aside from that, staff seemed to be entirely overworked and was seen juggling literally every job in the hotel, by themselves. Our room was very clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival - there was a dried puddle of urine in front of the toilet, pee in the toilet, multiple cup rings on almost every surface, black mold on the bottom of the sofa mattress, LOTS of hair in the king bedsheets, and the phone had crumbs and stains. “The room and the entire hotel was clean and comfortable. The gym (handful of cardio machines and a resistance weight-training machine) and pool are both small, but given we went during the off-season, we always had it to ourselves. Free breakfast was good.”

“We’ve been staying at Grant Hills for years. The rooms aren’t fancy, though are very clean and comfortable. We like the option to bring our pups with if we choose. The cost of a two night stay is many times less than one night in other Galena hotels. It’s always very quiet and there is a walking path not far away. ”
