"I recently stayed at the Franklin Hotel during a solo deer hunting trip to Martha's Vineyard. Loved the cleanliness of the entire property and of my room. Though it took a bit to get used to, I also loved the automated check-in process. Front door was locked, but to be fair I am sure it was because of the snow; back door was used instead and worked just fine. Now, I know it was off season, but I also loved the privacy and quietness of the hotel overall. Didn't get to see much of the staff, but they kept everything, clean and ran a tight ship. They also did a fantastic job responding to a bad snowstorm by clearing out the parking lot and hotel entrances and stairs very quickly. Loved the location of the hotel. Overall, great experience and highly recommended. I plan on staying here again when I visit Martha's Vineyard in the future."

"Staff was spectacular - especially the woman who checked us in late afternoon Friday, with details on amenities, suggestions for dining, best sunset, coffee, etc. Others were helpful as well. Pool had tons of clean fresh towels; bathroom had deep soaking tub which I enjoyed. "

"The Iris Hotel was very nicer. Check in and out was a breeze. Clean, inviting, and the service was great. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The free breakfast buffet was excellent. Everything from waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, fruit, etc. I was not expecting that. I highly recommend it. "
