“Room was clean but could have use more towels in the bathroom. Good choices for breakfast. Beach was fabulous and the view was spectacular”

“We stayed here this past weekend. The room itself was big & spacious. The front desk attendant however was pretty rude when we arrived. We are from out of town so tried to call & see if we could check in early but just got left on hold. Upon arrival (we were about 30-45 minutes early) we asked if their was any early check in and she said check in was at 4 accross the board without even checking if any rooms were ready… we then asked if we could store our bags at least and she said do we look……

“Hotel is VERY dirty... poorly managed lifeguards play on their personal phone more than they do their job. They have SERIOUS ELECTRICAL ISSUES.... only half the water park worked and not the part with the main attraction , the only thing working was the lazy river and the kids ankle deep water. If you ask speak to a manager you're gonna be told ten different stories. Our room had food and clothes still on the floor when we checked in i'm gonna ask for a manager again , when we checked out and……

“There were enough little things that were not right or working, especially for a room that was over $500 on a Friday. Paid to upgrade to have a soaking tub, that did not work. Toilet paper hanger was broke. No coffee cups or creamer. No plastic cups or glass ware, for a room like this, expected glasses. The wood grain on the check-in counter has a layer of black grime on it, do not touch. It was a nice room but things made it not worth it.”

“No mini fridge or microwave, small room, no coffee/tea machine, shower took forever to get hot, no bath tub, no parking included”

“The environment is very good, the transportation and parking are convenient, the hotel is clean and sanitary, and the service is good.”

“Sugar beach location was roughly 10-15 minutes from downtown. The beach on site, was ideal. Beach chairs need to be updated.. could be nicer. The balcony decks need cleaned. Hotel room was nice.. Breakfast delivered to room was nice in the morning, not having to go down to a lobby was a plus. Coffee machine in room could be updated.”

“This hotel was a challenge for 2 Seniors. The walk from the curb to the Check-in desk was a very long distance. To get to the Lobby, had to use an escalator, signage nearly non-existent to find lobby, security then point me to follow purple carpet. Had to go through casino and that's when I spotted a bellman, Phil. Then finally got to the lobby. He + I had to go back to the car to get luggage and then back to the lobby to get to room elevators. I'm sure just this took over an hour. Bellman,……

“I didn't like the room, floors, bedding and bathroom area. The sheets were ripped. The face bowl was backed up and there was no maintenance on the property to fix it.”

“First time to the island and the hotel was great. Pricey but the room, staff and location was worth it!”

“We stayed in a King Deluxe room in the tower. The view was spectacular overlooking the pool and golf course. We enjoyed the Grill restaurant twice during our 4 day stay. The food was superb and the view of the golf course was amazing.”
