“Checked in a little late. We only came for an event so did not spend an entire day. Within two minutes, there was a power outage. I overheard guests coming back from the front desk share that it's because of "power usage." My daughter and i got dressed and used only the light in the bathroom (Only area that had power interestingly) then the power came back on. Steps leading to the second floor are taped up. The room smelled old, can't really find the word to describe it. When we tried taking a……

“Overall worth the value But hardly 5 star Won't get great sleep at night But fully served its purpose at late availability and price Attempt to provide great experience falls short, but again the value makes it. Parking is free, as well as decent small breakfast items, with convenience of multiple stores close. The staff is excellent and Attempts to improve stay. The shower was hot which is far better than more costly and higher rated hotels. So Overall, worth the cost and experience. Just……

“the shower was akward to use as I called the front desk to find the water must be running in order to pull down on a lever to allow water to reach the shower. THey may want to update these valves that are confusing to use. Also the grab bar in our bath was loose. Other wise our stay was good, a very nice complimentary breakfast that gave many choices for each traveler. Overall, our stay was pleasant. i would recommend as a short stay option, however I would not book thru Expedia again.”

“They made a birthday cake for my son last minute and were so kind to us. Everyone there was helpful and kind. The server at breakfast got a candle to put on his breakfast and sang. Happy birthday. It’s also a beautiful property and the kids enjoyed the obstacle course in the back.”

“Basic hotel, served its purpose. No issues and clean. Planned to walk to downtown but the area right outside the hotel did not feel safe to walk at night. Fine for a bed for a night.”
