It is very relaxing and quiet."

Once you have done it , it gets fine lol but it’s so worth it. Breakfast is served in the apartment and the beds were perfect. Great two nights and loved every minute of it."

The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with great attention to detail that really made the experience special. We are visiting South Africa for the first time from Canada on the Garden Route and Carol’s space reminded us of a home away from home. Our 3 kids absolutely loved the pool, the bunk beds, and the hike, it made the trip even more memorable for our whole family. The atmosphere was relaxing and exactly what we were looking for, and Carol was always helpful, responsive, and genuinely warm. You can tell a lot of care has gone into creating a great guest experience. We truly enjoyed our time and would absolutely recommend Moonshine to anyone looking for a memorable stay. Looking forward to coming back again!"

The pool was much warmer than our last visit in September 2004! We found Hog Hollow had lost a little of its rustic charm and was more like a hotel. "

"Beautiful peaceful, unique grounds and pool. Staff were all super friendly, helpful and gave recommendations for the area. The food and drink in the evening were slightly more expensive than we had paid elsewhere but was definitely worth it and was so convenient to just walk through the gardens to the restaurant each evening. A great base for Nature Valley and the Tsitsikamma Park. The only minor things were that the air con wasn’t working in the room but didn’t bother us as we had cool nights with rain and also the WiFi in the room was slow or dropped out but other than that we had a great time and would definitely recommend staying here. "
