"The woman that owns this place is an alcoholic and only spoke Polish. She refused to let me stay until two other young women arrived and translated for me.
She told me through them that she wanted 750 zlotys for one night. I ended up giving her 10 euros.
I left the following morning and found accommodation in central Krakow at the Bubble Hostel on Barstowa Street near the Barbican Gate.
You should not allow anyone to book into this place that does not speak Polish.

"It was a great stay, however I wish I had curtains on the beds, so when someone who is sleeping does not get woke by inconsiderate guests (flicking on the lights was uncool at 2am)"

"We had a nice stay and it was as you’d expect with a hostel. However the toilet/ smelled really bad and the shower leaked water everywhere. We also phoned the emergency number three times when we were stuck, with no response. This was a little frustrating. But other than that, it does the job. Thank you. "

"Great place to stay. Didn’t feel too old for a hostel, private room with en suite was super comfortable and clean. Kitchens to use were well equipped with free tea, coffee, milk and cereal. Great easy instructions on how to get room keys on arrival etc and fantastic location to base yourself in krakow. Highly recommend as great value for money."

"The hotel was amazing, great location for everything. Breakfast was amazing cooked fresh and it was proper bacon not the streaky kind, the scrambled eggs were also great. The actual room was lovely and clean. Would definitely stay in the hotel again. "
"Had a wonderful stay , the staff were lovely , the breakfast was nice and had plenty of options , I was in a room at the front of the building which was quite noisy so be sure to request a room at the back if you like to relax in you room / go to bed early , would stay again as the location was excellent "
"The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Beautiful, spacious room which was thoroughly serviced every day throughout our stay. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with all aspects of our stay. The breakfast area was a delight and the kitchen staff provided a wide variety of delicious foods to savour. The hotel is located in a picturesque setting within the old town, which made sightseeing so convenient, within easy walking distance of the main streets and places of interest.
An absolute gem of an hotel. Thank you"
