“The whole 3 nights were so easy and chilled. Then a fantastic breakfast every morning cooked and served by Larry. Larry is such a welcoming host .nothing too much for him and a weakth of local knowledge. Cant wait to rerurn in the summer. We had a family room and was very spacious and clean all in pine to keep the charm of this rustic farm manor house . Definitely return !”

“The hotel staff were amazing and so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was lovely, we had breakfast everyday and had a few evening meals 10/10. The hotel was also central for the town the bus and train station should you wished to go off to Belfast or Dublin for the day.”

“Positives: Close to town Modern inside Negatives: I was contacted to ask for my number before my visit and told the host would be in touch nearer my stay. I asked for some recommendations in the area but I received no response. On the day of check in I messaged just to confirm I was due to be checking in today, I did receive a response this time around midday advising check in time is at 3pm then at 2.50pm a message to say we could check in. “Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
