“Our first visit to a Warner Hotel, hopefully it will not be our last.
Staff were professional, engaging and engaged.
Buffet food was good, with plenty of choice. The cooked breakfast option looked greasy as mostly fried items, fried bread and eggs fair enough but I prefer bacon, sausages, black pudding, tomatoes grilled / baked these days. However, very happy with the fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, breads etc!
Swimming pool was a great treat. As we were only staying for one night no time to use……
“The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos.”
“We enjoyed our stay in the hotel.
Nice staff at the counter and restaurant. Thanks Jen.
The dinner and breakfast were superb.
Nice experience to stay at an old English pub-style B&B.”
“We stayed for 2 nights (Saturday-Monday) and overall the stay was good! The room was lovely, well presented, clean (needed a few touch ups but nothing major) and comfortable. The female members of staff we spoke to were very helpful.
Unfortunately, the Saturday night is the reason I’m not giving more stars. I understand it’s a pub so there will be noise to a degree, but there was loud talking and music until gone midnight and it was very frustrating. I had ear plugs in but could still hear it……
“Lovely hotel in a quiet location but loads of things to do nearby from Oxford to Bicester Village and the Cotswolds.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was the standout with great menu, quality and presentation.
Would highly recommend”
