“Very cute and intimate building with great hosts. Short walk to downtown with restaurants and shops. Nevada city is a great little town.”

“The property has no staff or management on-site overnight. We checked in as normal but when we returned at 11 pm our room cards would not work. We rang the button outside the office - you could hear the phone ringing for two minutes, then it disconnected. Tried that more than a few times. Also called the phone number to reach the hotel several times - also no answer. Called Expedia, they could not reach hotel staff. Expedia attempted to get us another hotel room in Nevada City, no other hotels……

There were cobwebs in corners, dirty sinks, and the handrails and Banister rails to the stairs and Loft have never been washed down. “This was a very charming peaceful and friendly inn. The rooms were delightful and well-equipped. Each room has a kitchenette with all the necessary accessories. Location is pet friendly. There is a large side lawn for the dogs to roam and it has chairs for people to sit in a barbecue there is also an outside patio area for coffee or drinks. I highly recommend this location”
