For the money you pay, I would expect a bit more small things like a candle on the table, place to cook. The coffee machine was not working and it was not super clean, there were coffee marks next to the bed. For the rest, I would recommend people checking out this place as the area and the views are amazing!”

The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. The Mill House is very large, and we loved having the huge kitchen and living areas. The bathrooms were a bit dicey to be honest, but what can you expect in an historic house? “Es ist mehr eine Wohnung als ein Haus, man geht unten bei der Haustür rein und dann die Treppe hoch in ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile und Erker, von dem man den Strand sehen kann, unten und nebenan sind zwei weitere Unterkünfte. Daneben sind Schlafzimmer und Bad, super sauber und sehr stilvoll. Der Verwalter Seàn ist ein extrem hilfsbereiter, kompetenter Mann, der im Ort wohnt und immer prompt reagiert. “Three generations of our family gathered for 4 days at Annamult House. It could not have been a better house for us to enjoy Christmas. We cooked delicious meals in a very-well equipped kitchen, set a beautiful table for an elegant Christmas dinner for 15, played games in the large comfortable parlor, went on beautiful country walks and kept 3 open fires burning to make it cozy.
