He gave us history of the motel and let us know about all the amenities offered such as pool, ice machine, lounge chairs by the firepit and also informed us we can go to the bowling alley where they have food and a bar. “The a/c didn't work properly, not cooling, the in room coffee maker was missing parts rendering it useless, and the mini fridge the freezer was complete ice and leaking out onto the carpet around the fridge.”

“Beautiful historic hotel, but the AC didn’t work, and the room was hot. The hotel warns you at the thermostat that the climate control isn’t great and encourages you to open windows. However, two of the three windows were bolted closed, and the third had to be propped open with a closet hangar. The beautiful antique dresser drawer mirror pointed at the ground and wasn’t useable. Lastly, we were only given decaf coffee, and the staff isn’t available in the morning until 8am to assist.”

“The owners were super friendly to my children. We stayed in the Sterling room which was like a library! My children enjoyed looking through the books. My only comment was we had no choices for breakfast and my kids wouldn't eat the breakfast. More for me though!”
