“It's always a great pleasure to stay at the St Giles Hotel in Norwich. The staff are very friendly and helpful and it almost feels like home as we've returned several times. The Georgian Suite was fabulous; great standalone bath and large shower with good amenities. Very comfortable bed and pillows and the room fan was super quiet and effective in the hot weather. Breakfast offers a varied selection and uses local produce - hard to resist the full English, but the avocado on sourdough is……

“Room is clean and quiet. Air-conditioner is definitely a plus during heatwave. We were able to have a nice sleep after a day long activity. Staff are very helpful to accommodate our request. On Sunday, the bar closes a bit earlier, so we missed the last order time. But we were able to have a dinner at the bar on a weekday. The food quality is superb in the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again next year.”

“The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The location of the property was very good, within easy walking distance of the centre of Norwich so no need to take the car. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is a self-service buffet - cereals and bread for toast are provided and there is orange juice, butter, milk, jam etc. in a small fridge. Microwaveable porridge was also available, however, there were no kitchen scales so it would have been difficult to measure out the correct……

“Lovely owners and lovely cooked breakfast, very clean bathroom with shower gels and shampoo provided. Parking is available on the side of the house.”

“Convenient access if traveling to and from nearby airports. Rooms are basic, but absolutely no airflow, even with a fan, and very difficult to sleep when the room is so hot. In general, this is feedback for many hotels that don’t have air-conditioning and it will be an health and safetyissue that is going to need to be addressed sooner than later.”

“My stay here was brilliant. Great commication from the point of booking and again on the day. Staff very pleasant, room was clean and spacious. Included a microwave too. Plenty of tea and coffee available aswell. Breakfast was delicious, lots of options to choose from, whether hot or cold. One thing I loved was how quiet the guest house was.”
