“Great little locally owned place. The food was good. The pub was great. Friendly locals gathered as well as fellow travelers. Had a great time and really enjoyed staying at the hotel so much, we decided to stay another night.
The staff was also very accommodating where they could be, although we did have a few issues. We had some trouble with no heat in our room the first night. The staff was quick to respond to turn it on that evening; however, it didn't get/stay on, so it never warmed up, and……
“The only place to stay in Wexford in my opinion… is to relax at Jim McGees and enjoy your first pint of Guiness at the friendliest pub in town! Thank you all!!! ”
“Pleasant stay. Hotel decor a bit tired. No air conditioning or fans. Very quiet when no entertainment in the courtyard. Better pillows would be nice.”
“Overall experience was nice that the surroundings and leisure club are pretty good. The thing we didn't expect is that there are some stairs going down to the room that we need to carry the luggage ourselves, which is not notified when booking. Also the air smells moldy in the corridor downstairs. But the room itself is tidy and clean.”
“We had a warm welcome from Pauline and Chris who were throughout great hosts - happy to help with local visits and places to eat. A lovely setting on a useful through route just 35 minutes from the port.”
“Really enjoyed our stay in our cozy hut, very comfortable and clean. Mary is an excellent host and the breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and bread. I would recommend this place and plan to return soon. Thank you Mary for your hospitality x”
“5 minute drive to Enniscorthy town centre.
Easy routes to Wexford and Waterford. Just under two hours from Dublin airport by car.
Lovely and peaceful.
You could hear the birds sing and the sheep bah lol”
