“Great hotel with lots of activities for the kids. Gym was huge with lots of equipment and classes. We had a family suite which was huge with separate bedrooms for kids and adults. Only small let downs were the shower pressure being terrible, hotel was super hot even though it wasn’t a warm day, but the did provide us with fans. Breakfast had a great selection but gluten free options ran out quickly and weren’t replaced.”

“Really nice place to stay, I'd come back for a short stay again. The full English breakfast was good, my friend thought that his pancakes were under done, the scrambled eggs were out of a packet & watery. “Comfy room, generous towels.
Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service.
There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. A real asset to the Old……

“We used the Pickled Parson as a home base for a month while visiting family. The room we had for that duration of a stay was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean and made up daily.
