“It felt like home. A short walk to the bus depot gave me access to all surrounding sites, or an easy 25 minute walk to city centre. Tea and coffee, juice and bread on hand. Two friendly dogs that were all talk at first became friends during the first encounter.”

There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. “The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - a credit to the hotel. My dog made lots of friends with the staff and managed to blag a great number of treats from the bar. Food was good and a quiet location (in the winter).”
