“Very quite and comfy”

“The apartment had plenty of space for us and had everything we needed for our short stay. Oddly, I never received the "usual" emails from Vrbo with arrival instructions, etc, I contacted the host directly for instructions. He was very helpful and responded quickly. We were pleased to find everything clean and tidy. There were a couple of minor things that need attention, which I am sure will be taken care of. It was evident that things were cared for and in good order there. One thing to know……

“The facility was clean. The breakfast was good. Tried to check in around d 11:00 am because we were in the area and was told there would be a $30.00 up charge so we decided to wait. I under stand but it really did not look that busy and we were just going to get checked In Before we went out for the day. Not a bad place to stay over all.”

“It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left……

“Although there is construction going on at the hotel it was very nice. The only complaint we have is the AC unit in the room kept shutting off all night and one of us would have to turn it back on”
