“Highly recommend! Excellent location with view of town center and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and major attractions. Suite contains partial kitchen with two separate bedrooms. Knowledgeable staff spent hours helping me trace the location of my Irish ancestors and connected me to transportation staff to visit them. More than a room an experience!”

Positiv: eine Toilette funktionierte nicht, was die Eigentümer aber am Samstag Abend noch durch einen Fachmann reparieren liessen. Beheizt wurde das Haus durch eine Wärmepumpe. Vorschlag: Grundrenovierung ist sinnvoll vor Beginn der Saison, wir waren wohl die ersten Gäste nach langer Zeit, sollten alle Funktionen geprüft werden und eine angenehme……

“This was one of my family's favorite adventures that we've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Hilltown was an amazing house and an amazing property. Both the house and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. The house had everything that our family of five needed, and it would certainly accommodate at least two families. We hiked all over the property, drove (5 minutes) to the beach, visited the resident horses and sheep, and explored Donegal Town Centre which was 15 minutes away. We were……

“We arrived after spending a week in Belfast - brilliant place butpacked and full of the bustle of the city. Donegal was the polar opposite. The house is in the most beautiful spot imaginable- you couldn’t tire of that view in a hundred lifetimes and I even saw the sun come up a couple of mornings. Loads to do in the area but equally perfect for sitting back and soaking up the absolute, hear a pin drop quiet. Idyllic. House was beautifully and stylishly equipped and extremely comfortable.……

“The cottage is very cute and gives the experience of an authentic Irish country cottage however it wasn’t as tidy as a renter should expect and we had issues with the hot water and radiator heat the entire time of our stay. We addressed the issues with the owner and he tried to rectify the hot water and heating but we never had consistency the entirety of our stay. We also brought up the tidiness issue right away, we cleaned up ourselves, and he said he would address it with his housekeeping……

She was very helpful about the area and had lots of suggestions on places to go and things to see. Her home was so homey and comfortable. We felt very welcome. Wherever we went, people spoke very highly of Theresa and her home. I would recommend this home to anyone and can’t wait to return soon.”
