Went with a group of friends for a golf trip and we really enjoyed the house and you can’t beat the location. Very clean throughout both inside and outside. Only issue really and it was very minor and probably because I’m an old goat, the check in process can be tricky as I wasn’t sure whether to go through the app or the email link the management company sent. That was quickly solved though with a call to them. Very pleasant and understanding. We had some issues arise during our stay. The oven stopped working and needed a repairman to come address it. Wine fridge was also not working. Wifi also didn't work for most of one day, but it appears that might have been a neighborhood outage, and a technician came that day to see if he could help (he couldn't). Most concerning is that while the kitchen is nice, it was not appointed in the ways that I've come to expect at most short-rental homes I've stayed in. There was no dish soap or anything to clean dishes with, no dish towels to dry things with, absolutely no seasonings whatsoever (which are often left behind by previous users), no pot holders, and very, very few serving dishes, cookie sheets, and the like. We ended up having to go get a lot of things that the owners should have provided, from my experience. The owners were quick to respond when we reached out, but we shouldn't have had to reach out as often as we did, especially when the house is owned by a full time short-rental company rather than a private owner. This house was in such a good location! We loved the pool, backyard, and spacious kitchen/living room area to hang out. A few things were broken, like the water slide in the pool, which would have been nice to know before we rented it. It's nicely decorated and cozy. But we were a little disappointed, the house seemed to be in need of quite a few repairs and fixes and looked pretty warn down. We were able to quickly communicate these issues with the property management company, which they took time to address them as best they could while we were there. We were also disappointed as the pool water feature/slide weren't working and wasn't going to be fixed while we were there. The pool was the main reason we booked this property, so that really stunk. Some other main components at the house weren't working properly either (1 burner wasn't working on the grill, the freezer in the refrigerator wasn't working either - they did have a small chest freezer in the dining room to accommodate the freezer, but...yeah, and there were lights literally falling out of the ceiling as the clips that held them in were broken), it just felt like the house hadn't been taken well care of. There also ended up being a leak in the master bathroom that had already warped the wood floors. This leak was active we found out after the floor buckled up from the water damage on our third day. Again, I would like to express the rental company was immediately on the case and sent two contractors out to the home within 20 mins of us reporting the floor buckling. The good news is the rental company worked quickly and was extremely apologetic while finding a solution for us. They moved us promptly to another home within hours. We appreciated the attentiveness they gave and the solutions they offered - it just kind of stunk. We had a group of friends out to get together and play golf. House was perfect for it. More space even than the pictures show and house was very clean. Pool & yard are very nice and well kept. Freezer had some issues but temporary freezer was in the kitchen next to it. That was really the only issue. Management company contacted us right away and said garbage from previous renters would be removed, but it didn’t get done before we checked out. Also, oven unclean but they did make an attempt to remedy that. Listing was thorough and accurate. Hosts were very responsive during the booking process and in the days leading up to arrival. House was clean and ready on time, and all the amenities worked out great. Plenty of space for our large group, including a great backyard setup, even though it was a little too cold to be swimming. But our stay was a little off. When we showed up the counters were dusty, one of the windows was open, another window was broken, the pool was cold, there was no toilet paper, and no hand soap for the sinks. Other issues stood out too, such as a hole in the wall by the front door and bugs that had been smashed against the wall in the garage/pool room. When I raised these issues, the company promptly responded and tried to fix what they could. For example, someone was there in 20 minutes with 10 rolls of toilet paper. So that’s impressive. But the pool wasn’t warm enough to use until after we left, and the broken window was known problem when I let them know. I think we had a good value for our stay. And if it’s a bachelor party, you probably wouldn’t notice or care about any of the above. Perfectly located, it’s next to everything, but still quiet in a nice well kept neighborhood. My husband, and both kids cut their feet on glass out by the pool. We did a thorough check and couldn’t find any pieces to pick up, they must have been to tiny. Also, my dog developed a bumpy rash over her entire body and I had to take her to the vet, it looked like she was attacked by some sort of insect in the yard. I did notice 3 weird hive/nest looking things in the tree in the backyard. I’m not sure what is living in them but I think they may be the culprit. I know these things are out of the owners control so I don’t blame them. Whomever stayed their last must’ve broken glass but if we couldn’t find it, I’m sure the cleaning staff couldn’t see it either.
