"Nice clean rooms and attentive staff, pool was heated and the location was walkable into certain surf spots; sticks, and marshmallow. Only issues is that the bathroom was slightly broken, sink was loose and shower door dragged. The staff we not familiar with Expedia payments, but this is common for the island as most hotels don’t like the idea of not being paid cash. This was sorted eventually but remember to show your payment receipt on check in. "

"What a beautiful gem of a boutique hotel nestled on a hill surrounded by nature. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. It was tastefully designed and filled with personal touches such as books and beautiful photographs. The restaurant called The Dutch is superb. "This was a disappointing stay. When it rained water pools in under the balcony door and several drips appeared in the ceiling. The resulting drips caused damage to some of my belongings, you just wouldn’t expect damage like that when paying so much for a room. I booked the stay as a treat but feel that the room wasn't worth anything like the price. I do feel quite cheated. I’m sure it’s great when it’s dry here but I spent my stay with towels soaking up the flooding around the edges of the room. It somewhat destroyed the zen I was seeking. I wrote to management as the staff on site didn’t seem to care much. But no reply, apology or concession. A real shame."
