“The hotel itself is mostly fine, with a good location and a nice view. The staff, however, were the worst among our eight stays in Sri Lanka. They weren’t friendly or helpful and had a clear “what do you want” attitude. They even woke us at 10 p.m. to ask what breakfast we wanted, which is unacceptable.
The “western breakfast” was just buttered toast, and it took 40 minutes, even though every simpler place offered more. They mentioned eggs as well, but after 40 minutes nothing appeared, and……

“The hotel is well located a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are great and attentive to all your needs.
They go the extra mile all the time to ensure your stay is special. Breakfast is excellent with all cusines available.
The NY eve gala dinner had live music, superb food banquet and a beach bbq. Seafood, meat and sushi available. Like a wedding feast. Great fun and well organised.”

“Clean and comfortable room, great location, beautiful garden, but the highlight was the wonderful family and food.
It felt like being invited into a family while they provided 5 star hotel service but at a cheap price. Room service, laundry service, and anything else you could dream of. Extremely knowledgeable about what to experience in the country and where the get the best prices.
I had 5 great days. The family is very helpful and always ready for a chat.
