“We arrived late on a Sunday in a heavy downpour. The town is very remote and there were zero options to eat anywhere or not even any supermarket. The owner originally said that his restaurant was closed on Sundays, but then felt bad for us and opened it just for us. The meal was great and he only charged us 53 euros for a dinner with wine. That was very reasonable although he could've taken advantage of our situation and charged us significantly more. The town though has nothing to offer other……

“Very nice room in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside. Friendly host. Lots of sweet dogs on the property. Many need a bath and a little medical care, in my opinion, but they were a joy to see whenever we came and went. The wifi did not work in our room at all. Dining in the area is limited, but we did find a nice place for pizza nearby.”

“Ottimo hotel immerso nel verde, con due piscine (di cui una per bambini) in cui siamo stati benissimo. Ristorante con ampia scelta piatti, porzioni abbondanti e servizio rapido. Eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo. Camere ampie e pulite; ulteriore nota positiva, la cortesia dei titolari che con molto impegno sono riusciti anche a risolvere un problema di fatturazione con l'azienda. Consigliatissimo!”

“The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.”

“Ein sehr schöner Agriturismo! Sehr freundliches Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer in einem neuwertigen Zustand! wirklich absolut top. Frühstück ist kein Buffet sondern ist am Tisch gestanden war aber auch absolut ausreichend und auch vielfältig. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: sie haben keinen Pool, aber wohl in der näheren Umgebung einen.”

“Après les plages, un endroit parfait sur la route vers Matéra. Les hôtes sont gentils et très aimables. Superbe chambre et espaces communs de qualité. Terrasse. La cuisine équipée avec machine à café et bouilloire. Très propre et calme. Parking gratuit devant.”

“It's the best hotel for me. The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic. Although they don't speak English very well, they helped us a lot with our heavy luggage.
